My good friends from Decayed Richmond are in their final days of Kickstarter funding for their feature length documentary project. Decayed Richmond is a band of anonymous urban explorers that venture into the depths of Richmond’s abandon buildings by day or by night seeking to rediscover what the city has long forgotten.
“The thrill of finding a structure neglected for decades is incredible. We want to capture that feeling of walking into a building, where time has stood still for half a century, its rotting walls reclaimed by nature, local artists, and the surrounding community.”
With a little more than $250 away from funding their lofty project of $3,000 they are so close! What I love about Richmond is that the city really has a way of getting behind and supporting people and this, FEAST RVA, as well as the other Kickstarter projects are a testament to that.
